Over 15 years of rapid expansion, Silo, an electronics retailer, needed exciting and recognizable store designs suitable to diverse locations and conditions. Richard M. Cole & Associates' signature design, used around the country for five years, featured a stepped and graded glass entrance corner, signature colors and bold signage. The glass opened up the interior, making the store beckoning to customers day and night.

RMC&A's later prototypes met other programmatic needs and were equally successful at freestanding stores, tight urban storefronts and shopping centers, making Silo a distinctive, high-tech presence at over 220 locations.
