Description

Richard M. Cole & Associates transformed a termite-infested rowhouse with three apartments into a light-filled, single-family home for a young family and an asset to its 19th- and early-20th-century neighborhood.

Extensive reconstruction was necessary inside and out. New windows, doors and marble stairs were installed in the front of the house; an older rear ell was removed and a new three-story addition constructed. RMC&A crafted the interior space to accommodate a living room, study, dining room, kitchen, laundry, two bathrooms, powder room, master bedroom, two children's bedrooms and future playroom.

Handsome interior finishes, including quarry tile, oak flooring and maple cabinetry, and sophisticated mechanical systems completed the conversion from derelict to proud.
