Description

Trustees' Private Bank commissioned Richard M. Cole & Associates to put an unused, 75-year-old vault back into use and fashion a gracious reception area in a windowless basement of only 2,000 square feet. RMC&A's solution was a handsome grille wall, made with a mahogany frame, stainless and painted steel bars, separating the public reception area from the vault area. The design allows a clear view between vault and lobby, ensuring optimum security while keeping the confined spaces from feeling cramped. Indirect wall lighting, comfortable furnishings and attractive artwork also contribute to an inviting atmosphere for the bank's customers, while maintaining full functionality and security.
